  • Eddi Reader will kick off the 2010 Culross Festival on Friday 4th June

The performers are ready, and (hopefully) the good weather is ready for a great weekend of entertainment at the Culross Festival

Eddi Reader kicks off the festival on Friday 4th June, and there's a full programme of entertainment throughout the weekend - you can see full details of this year's festival programme here.

Are you looking forward to the festival? If you're going along to any of the shows, post your comments - and photos - here on s1culross

Well, I for one (actually 500 others too as it is a sell out) shall be enjoying some first class entertainment tonight at the Eddi Reader concert up at Abbey House. I am truly looking forward to an open air concert with a brilliant, chart topping, Scottish singer, having a dance and an awfully civilised glass of Chardonnay on the terrace in the grounds of one of Culross' magnificent buildings.

I thank the festival committee for all their hard work which has resulted in this weekend's festival for all. not just Culross, to enjoy.

I shall raise my glass of Chardonnay and drink to the wonderful village of Culross and all that it provides.

What a pity that rodgers and co will be sitting at home mumping their gums about their sorry lives. Actually, no it's not.

A great evening was had by all.

well,well, well says

Hope you enjoyed your packet of crisps and glass of chardonnay! Any chance you could ask the festival committee to do the right and decent thing and provide us with accounts or is that just being silly?

D'you know what, it must be so disturbing, not having faith in people and always thinking that because somebody is doing something good for no payment that they must be on the make. Let's face it nobody ain't gonna retire on any swindling of Culross committees, So lighten up you doubting Thomas' and enjoy the ride.

Let's focus on the good. Friday night was a cracking night, three fab artists playing to a huge (for Culross) audience sitting in the early summer sun. As a local I have to say that there were far more non-locals there than locals and I think this year Culross may just have put itself on the entertainment map.

Look at the bigger picture here, stop looking for problems that are not there, and keep in perspective the ones that are.

Yes I enjoyed my Chardonnay, don't do crisps tho' ol' boy.

Its not about having faith in people etc etc. Its about transparency and surely you along with everyone else in the village think that when tax payers money is being given to a group of people its only fit and proper that accounts are provided So i am not looking for problems just the accounts.

Have your say...
