Thousands enjoy a great weekend at Culross Festival 2010

The 2010 Culross Festival enjoyed a weekend of great weather - despite Sunday's rain - with over 1,000 enjoying three days of great entertainment in the grounds of the Abbey.

Eddie Reader opened the event on Friday night, backed by The Deal and Alex Hynes before Saturday's performance of Bizet's classic 'Carmen' by Opera Novella.

On Sunday the weather wasn't quite as glorious, but the audiences still enjoyed Mozart's 'Cosi Fan Tutte'.

Like the rest of the village i am delighted that things went and the event attracted big crowds. So i cant wait to see how much money was made and how the village will benefit from the profits.
