Exploring Moat Pit

Fife Council and a team of enthusiastic local volunteers, accompanied by a BBC film crew have carried out a survey of  what is left of the Moat Pit. Seaweed was cleared from the site, with the intention of employing an aerial drone to photograph from overhead what is left of this important industrial heritage site. Unfortunately,due to high winds, the drone was unable to take off. Nevertheless it was a very informative and enjoyable morning
