Culross Pottery and Gallery would like to announce their Christmas 2008 Exhibition, starting on Sunday 16th November and continuing until January 12th to provide something special for every home this Christmas: perfect for original gifts for people who seem to have everything!

The exhibition will feature a selection of one-of-a-kind ceramic work – some hand crafted on the premises by resident potters Camilla Garrett-Jones, Sue Davis and Kirsty O’Connor – as well as a diverse range of hand-built crafts, including colourful glasswork, amazing wooly bags and scarves and a range of jewellery to suit all tastes.  Everything, in fact, from extraordinary wall hangings to treasured trinkets and unique stocking-fillers to more unusual Christmas decorations – all of which are just that bit different from the norm.

A wide range of fabulous Fairtrade gifts and charity cards will also be featured, making this exhibition truly unusual in its diversity and warming beauty.

The Biscuit Café will be open for business throughout, providing coffee, delicious homemade cakes and snacks for once you’ve finished browsing…

Focused on promoting Scottish art in particular, the exhibition will provide an assortment of art and craftwork by many local artists, including paintings and prints by Fife-based artists Alison Strachan, Moira Anne Dickson and Clive Ramage, as well as a variety of work from Scottish-based artists Karen Leckenby, Dorte Pape, Eleanor Miguel, Paula Sankelo and Fiona Duckett.

This cosy working pottery is set in the middle of National Trust conservation village Culross, which provides a stunning backdrop to this exhibition, offering original and accessible artwork at affordable prices for a memorable Christmas.
