I love visiting Culross but not your public toilets!! Maybe you should think of renewing them. I have heard other visitors comments and they are not complimentary.
It seems the kids then have the same play facilities as they do now.
Dont bring that subject up its a sore point in this village.
I take it your on about the skatepark? I voted against it.
I could see both sides of the argument. The kids in the village have never had a decent playpark as long as i have lived here and also when you think of the amount of tourists that come to the village we really should have better. But i dont think a lump of concrete stuck in the middle of the green was the answer.
I wondered if this old piece of footage had my old next door neighbour, Fanny Scotland, in it?
It looks quite like her in her younger days. Does anybody remember her? She use to pull the bell in the Town House at midnight every New Year until she passed away.
She had a long life. Her brother was called John. And does anybody remember John Campbell? He was a lovely old boy. When we were wee children we had a pretty good swing park.... two great roundabouts, the horse, the slide, which was taken down when one of the Connor boys broke his leg, might have been Douglas.
Then at the far end there were the swings, baby swings and regular. Health and Safety, which has now gone sky high, caused the removal of lots of the play equipment.
